Slow days, I wonder

Slow ways in which I mow my lawn

& it is always waiting

For news what is going on

Don’t go,

the world cannot yet turn

without you!

I want you to remain..

Don’t leave,

We haven’t yet been taught

How to live on without feeling

the pain

Sitting and waiting

Doesn’t seem to be

much to say

And as the months are passing

Bad news is on its way..
